Q8 Water-Based Sealer is a high-quality, low-odour timber sealer designed to protect and enhance the natural beauty of wood. Its advanced water-based formulation penetrates the surface, sealing porous timber while maintaining the grain’s natural appearance.

Fast drying and easy to apply, Q8 provides reliable protection against moisture, light wear, and everyday exposure. It leaves a clear, smooth finish that can be overcoated or left as is, depending on the desired look.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Surface Preparation
– Ensure timber is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, wax or previous coatings.
– Sand the surface smooth using fine sandpaper (180–220 grit).
– Remove all sanding dust thoroughly before application.
– Good preparation ensures maximum adhesion and performance.

Application Instructions
– Apply evenly using a good-quality brush, roller or spray.
– Work in the direction of the wood grain.
– Allow to dry completely before applying additional coats.
– Lightly sand between coats for a smoother finish if required.
– Apply 2–3 coats depending on porosity and desired protection level.

Drying Time
– Touch dry: ±30 – 60 minutes
– Recoat: 2 – 4 hours
– Full cure: 24 hours
